WHAT IS ELEVATION EVEREST?
Elevation Everest is a race series held at Winter Park Resort in Colorado that offers events for both hiking/trail running and cycling. Each race is centered around the same goal: elevation gain.
Choose to race solo or make a relay team to divide and conquer the total elevation gain. Athletes race up the mountain, ride down, and do it all again until the summit. Celebrate together at Base Camp in between laps and after you cross the finish line with DJs, saunas & cold plunges, activities, and more.
“If you're looking for that next endurance event to test you physically, mentally, and emotionally, this is it. Mindset is everything. Finishing all 10 laps was an incredibly proud moment for me after a very grueling experience.”

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
BASE CAMP
When you’re not on the mountain, you’re enjoying all that Base Camp has to offer - from saunas and cold plunges, DJ’s that keep the energy high throughout the day, yoga, activities, and more. Refuel with your teammates in between laps, stretch it out in the recovery zone, and celebrate after your reach the summit.
COMMUNITY IS AT OUR CORE
At Elevation Everest, community is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to create a race that brings like minded athletes together to reach new heights. With every lap, you’ll feel the sense of encouragement and comradery from fellow athletes, our volunteers, and staff.
ATHLETE EXPERIENCE
“I️ made so many new friends on this course, as we had the time to talk during the hike, and I felt more encouragement from these athletes than any other race I’ve ever been it. Everyone was truly in this for the group and I felt that bond-ship on the mountain. Can’t wait to try Elevation Everest again soon! I’ll be back.”
— Jorge Suarez, Half Everest 2024
“This race was really special. It felt like a group of family and friends working to achieve remarkable goals. So many races have lost that feeling. The course was epic. Logistically things ran very smoothly. I can’t wait to run this race again next year!”
— Nicki Coghill, Half Everest 2024
“Elevation Everest was a wonderful experience. I love hiking but this was a different experience. The team & volunteers were awesome and so many positive people. Even when the hike got hard, everyone helped out everyone, even the elite athletes. Can't wait for next year to take on 10 laps and destroy it.”
— Chef Charles, Half Everest 2024
