Hillary Allen
HEAD COACH
Hillary Allen is a professional ultra runner, gravel cyclist, and coach. Known as the "Hillygoat" after winning the U.S. Skyrunning title in 2014, she has raced worldwide, earning victories and course records, establishing herself as one of the top mountain ultra runners. In 2017, she survived a life-threatening 150-foot fall during a Skyrace in Tromsø, Norway, breaking 14 bones. Told she would never run again, Hillary defied the odds with years of rehab and has returned to elite-level racing, completing some of her most challenging races post-accident, including the 2024 Elevation Everest Half Everest race.
Hillary, who holds a master’s degree in neuroscience, physiology, and structural biology, is passionate about helping others reach their athletic potential. Her coaching philosophy focuses on more than race prep—it's about balancing physical and mental training, personalizing goals, and finding harmony between life and athletic pursuits.

NICKI COGHILL
TRAINING COACH
Coach Nicki is a dedicated trail running coach with 20 years of experience in strength, conditioning, and run coaching. Starting as a novice, she became a serious athlete, firefighter, and eventually executive director of a nonprofit supporting mental health for first responders.
Nicki’s coaching philosophy emphasizes the connection between body and mind, encouraging athletes to fuel their passion, commit to training, and find purpose. As a mom, she understands the balance of working motherhood and loves sharing mountain adventures with her son.
Her coaching blends scientific training with mental wellness techniques, incorporating interval training, strength exercises, and mindfulness practices to build both physical and mental resilience in her athletes.

NUTRITION COACH
Lexi, founder of LZS Nurtition Ltd, is a Holistic Health & Wellness Coach who specializes in performance nutrition along with gut & hormone health and other various health conditions. Lexi is super passionate about the power of food as fuel. We've teamed up with her to bring nutrition tips, tricks & advice to all the athletes tackling the Elevation Everest hike!
Lexi competed solo in The Half Everest 2024 race and has the knowledge, expertise, and experience to make sure you’re fueling for success while training and on race day.
